Kathy, Doug, and Jeff travelled to Washington DC to visit Brian and go to the 2019 Major League Baseball World Series. Brian, as a Washington Nationals season ticket holder, was able to get extra tickets so all of us could go. Brian was able to get enough extra tickets that Doug's niece Liz and her boyfriend Brian were able to join us for Game 3, and Brian's friends Jen and Adam were able to join us for Game 4. For the first time ever, the visiting team won every game. This meant we didn't get to see the Nationals win in person, but, nonetheless, the Nationals won the series and are the MLB Champions for 2019.
