The Fontana Boat House was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the University of Wisconsin Boat Club. It was commissioned in 1905, but not built on the originally intended site. It was built in 2007 on the Niagara River in Buffalo, New York. Buffalo born writer Tom Fontana donated funds and raised additional funds to realize the building, named in memory of his parents.
