• The Ordrupgaard Museum of French Impressionism consists of two main buildings, the historic mansion which houses the permanent collection of French Impressionist paintings and works of Danish painters, and a new building, designed by architect Zaha Hadid, which is used primarily for changing exhibits. Photography of the art is not permitted so what follows are photos of the buildings and grounds.

• The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is so named because Alexander Brun, the original owner of the estate on which it is located, had three wives, all named Louise. I am sure it was very confusing if he was married to them all at the same time.
