We toured the Hills-DeCaro Residence at dusk, just after a major thunderstorm had knocked out power to the area. We used candles and flashlights to tour the interior of the home.

In 1910, then owner Grace Durrand hired architect Solon Spencer Beman to design housing for her prized Guernsey cows.

The Buckingham Fountain was designed by Edward Bennett. It was funded by Kate Buckingham and dedicated in memory of her brother Clarence in 1927.
