Architecture, art, and the Craftsman Weekend in the Los Angeles area
These are photos from Kathy's and Doug's trip to Southern California to participate in the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust Wrightway California tour. We saw wonderful art at the Getty Museum, at the Crafstman Weekend Exhibition, and in and around many of the homes we toured. We saw wonderful architecture by Wright, Schindler, Greene & Greene and others. This was the first time we saw Wright's "Textile Block" architecture in person. It was also the first time we saw Greene & Greene architecture in person. It was a wonderful experience during which we renewed friendships from previous trips and made new friends.
